What started as a pitchers duel turned to to a back-and-forth offensive battle that the 'Topes got the best of.

Albuquerque won it's second game in three days against the Storm Chasers thanks to timely hitting and solid pitching efforts from Mike Parisi, Will Savage, and Josh Wall.

Isotopes' Felix Francisco was the only pitcher that really struggled for the 'Topes today, but boy did he really struggle. He entered the game in the fifth inning and lasted 1.2 innings while surrendering 6 earned runs on 5 hits and three walks.

"Felix is a guy that we've had a few years, he's been around and he has got to be better at his job," Lorenzo Bundy said.

The other three pitchers that saw action for the 'Topes tonight combined for 8.1 innings, while giving up just one run.

The first Isotopes runs of the game would come in the fifth inning when Jerry Sands drove in Josh Bard, who doubled earlier in the inning. Albuquerque would go on to score three runs in the fifth as Jeff Baisley and Scott Van Slyke both singled home a run.

"It was a good day for Josh. He came in without a hit and he swung the bat well his last two starts. It's good to get that contribution from the bottom of the order for the second night in-a-row," Bundy said about Josh Bard, who finished the game a perfect 4-4.

After Omaha's 4 runs against Felix in the sixth and two in the seventh, they found themselves with a 7-4 lead.

The 'Topes would answer immediately, though.

Jerry Sands led off the seventh with his second single of the game to ignite a 5-run inning that put the 'Topes on top 9-7, which happened to be the final score of the game.

Albuquerque will look to win their first series of the season tomorrow when they host the Storm Chasers in the four-game finale at 12:05 PM -- a school day matinee. Michael Antonini -- who has been the Isotopes' best starter -- will be opposite veteran right-hander Vin Mazzaro.
